St. Peter

St.Peter’s church (postcode TW18 2DX) is situated in a lovely riverside setting and has parking for about 25 cars in the grounds and in front of the adjacent church hall. The church and the hall both have purpose-built disabled entrances and both buildings are fully accessible in the public areas. Our fully accessible toilet facilities are in the hall. The church has an audio hearing loop fitted.

A service at St Peter’s church

St.Peter’s is a fairly large Victorian church, which we like to fill, especially for concerts as the acoustics are brilliant but our regular weekly services are our mainstay. We offer a Sung Eucharist at 9.30am every Sunday, which is a traditional Anglican service of Holy Communion accompanied by our choir and organ and lasting just over an hour. We then serve coffee in the intervening half hour or so before our ‘Heaven@11’ service which is a lighter, lay-led, half-hour service aimed at those just beginning to explore their faith, including children. Powerpoint screen projection is used and supported by our musical band at ‘Heaven@11’. Once a month our clergy lead Holy Communion within the service.
