Christ Church Ladies Group is a new parish group formed in 2013 from what was previously the Christ Church Mothers’ Union. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 2pm for 2.15pm, for about two hours, in one of our members’ houses (details from the Parish Office).
Our meetings start with Communion, led either by a priest, or by one of our Eucharistic Ministers. After that we enjoy tea and biscuits whilst we chat, and we try to have an activity every meeting. Examples include each of us bringing a photo to the meeting and talking about what it means to us, or bringing a favourite poem, reading or passage from the Bible to share. We also get involved with helping out at church activities where we can.
We pay 50p for the meetings to cover the cost of tea and biscuits. All are welcome to come along and join us when they can.
